Yggdrasil has announced the release of Winterberries 2, the sequel to its popular Winterberries game. The new video slot game features 20 paylines across a 6×3 layout, with a frozen fruit theme familiar to fans of the original.
Winterberries 2 includes modern features such as Multipliers, Respins, and Free Spins. The Respins mode is triggered when a winning combination appears, with symbols freezing in place for subsequent rounds until no more winning combinations occur.
When two or more consecutive reels are filled from left to right, the multiplier at the top of the latest reel is triggered, increasing the chances of winning. Landing three or more Scatter symbols triggers a minimum of 10 Free Spins, with all multipliers, doubled during this round. The Special Scatter feature can increase multipliers up to +15 and may grant one additional spin.
The Golden Bet feature doubles the possibility of entering the Free Spins round and increases the chances of winning multiplied awards by incorporating the sixth reel. Various Buy Bonus options are also available in some markets.
