The Scientific Games Corporation signs a new agreement to strengthen its partnership with Nederlandse Loterij

A new iGaming domain has been created by the Dutch lottery operator, using Scientific Games Corporation’s OpenGaming platform and the associated OpenBet product suite, according to the company.

European Gaming Media and Events, which has its headquarters in Las Vegas, issued a formal press statement detailing the extended partnership as of last Friday, when the Netherlands established a fresh regulated iGaming market with ten licensed operators. As part of a new online casino and sports betting service, Nederlandse Loterij is now taking use of the developer’s advancements and targeting connoisseurs dispersed across the small country’s 17.6 million residents.

Scientific Games Corporation has announced that its new Toto-branded online casino and sportsbook would leverage the OpenGaming platform to give players a selection of ‘in-house designed games and popular releases from a range of third-party providers,’ according to the corporation. Nederlandse Loterij uses the OpenBet product suite to run a’reliable and scalable betting engine,’ as well as’managed trade services and access to comprehensive pre-match, in-play and risk management services,’ according to the company.

As if this wasn’t enough, Scientific Games Corporation announced that Nederlandse Loterij’s new iGaming domain will also use the BetBuilder product from its recently acquired SportCast subsidiary, giving players the ability to ‘build bets across multiple markets on a single game with instant pricing,’ according to the company. Fast Track’s high-margin quick-pick solution and a broader choice of singles markets will be used to complement all of this, according to the company.

Nederlandse Loterij, which was formed in 2016 through the merger of its Dutch State Lottery and De Lotto predecessors, has an annual turnover of around €1.3 billion ($1.5 billion), according to Scientific Games Corporation’s iGaming Commercial Vice President Andy Stubley. As a result, he declared that the operator is “the Netherlands’ largest gambling organization,” with the company’s “cutting-edge sportsbetting technology” and “instant lottery games” among its past offerings.

Our content aggregation platform and vast range of games are now available in the newly regulated Dutch online market, which is excellent. We have high hopes for OpenGaming’s performance in this important European market, and we look forward to providing gamers all around the country with enjoyable iGaming experiences.”
